News...

Ryno has moved out, and despite interest from Nightshade, Cobra and Zodiac the room went to Rob, a Man City fan from Preston. Finally, a flatmate who understands why I'm not going to be working from June 9-July 10.

The big story in the news here yesterday was a stricken British climber who was passed by 40 people making their way to the summit of Everest. No one stopped to help him and the poor sod died. Pretty shocking really.

Just imagine what state the galaxy would be in today had Han Solo not gone out in the freezing storms of Hoth to search for Luke. He didn't care that the odds of surviving were 7283 to 1. A lesson for all of us.

From Preston and supporting City? Clearly a fair weather fan. He should be supporting Preston North End.

Signed Richard, Liverpool fan from NE Wales.

That's the thing about these big clubs - national support - You hear stories about Oldham fans coming from places such as Doncaster.

likewise, i appreciate my united/north wales predicament (though please acknowledge i have lived in manchester throughout the duration of the existence of FC United), but a city fan in preston? please can you tell bradbury. he thinks all city fans were born within one mile of maine road.

likewise, their recent ad campaign of billboards in sky blue declaring "this is our city". yes. a club that likes to remind united that old trafford is strictly speaking trafford and not manchester. they put the "this is our city" billboards in such places as salford, altrincham, rochdale, bury, oldham and stockport. nice one.

anyways, just realised this probably sounds like i'm slagging your new housemate off and i've never even met the guy and he's probably a decent bloke. i presume he hasn't heard about your axe murdering*, kerb crawling* past then, eh OG?
