Having taken the plunge and made the permanent move from England to New Zealand, this website (not blog, hate that word) was born out of sheer bone idleness. Emailing people to tell them what I was up to over here sounded like far too much effort. Why wasn't there a third screen showing your equalising goal in the last minute against KPMG in that 4-4 draw? Oh, I remember why.
PS If you're looking for a comeback may I suggest the 'teeny boppers' incident or any of my 'goalkeeping'.
Is that the game where I apparently missed 28 open goals and cried my eyes out in the changing room after? Happy days.
That was the same game where you let a goal in because you were looking the other way in the corner of your net eating a kebab you'd stashed there was it not?
The kebab was a masterstroke and, though it may have had a slightly adverse effect on my mobility round the goal, that shot was going in anyway.
I could kill for one now actually. Haven't had one in ages (had one in the last year I reckon). Luckily, we have a specific window for just such an activity in the weekend's festivities in Manc. MWard has 'visit Rusholme, collect kebab' pencilled in post Smiths night on Fri. F-i-n-e scenes.
The kebab was good, ladies and gents.
And a post-pub curry is on the cards for tonight. Lovely.

The curry turned out to have horrendous side effects, gastric fans. Though that may have been the beers. Who can tell.
